We are Year 4 Room 1. Our room is one of the warmest rooms in the school. We have 25 people in our class. Children in our class are from many different countries, and we are special because we have one of the three Mimio Projectors in our class.
Our teacher is Mrs McIntyre and she loves art and technology. She is also Year 4’s team leader. Our classroom is a fantastic place to learn because our teacher is very creative and she put lots of our pictures on the wall. Our class goal is to save power and water.
Last semester we have been learning about precious energy and our area was divided into three groups. Pigeon Mountain is an enviro school, we reduce, reuse and recycle rubbish.
Year 4 has a fitness program where we do jogging, lunges and other stretches. We have been taking part in My Greatest Feat and in our area we were the first class to reach Bluff.
One very lucky person in our class got to got to the Beijing Olympics, but they didn’t get to go to any of the games that were being played!
In our class we have a special chart if someone is good they get a mark and get prizes or a certificate.
We also went on a trip to the Telstra Clear to watch Hinepau. After we went to Murphy’s Bush for a walk. We didn’t know the way so we went in circles. In the end the teachers loved it.
